Mountains have always been a place where cultures meet.
More than anywhere else, true values and cultural peculiarities are kept in the mountains.
Mountains speak to us, call us, connect us with nature, people and music.
Since we started playing together, we noticed that our music mostly speaks about mountains.
And we like to highlight the unifying character of the mountains.
People from Western Alps speak occitan. People from Valais can perfectly speak in Franco-Provençal language with people from Val d'Aosta. The Four Provinces are spread over various Italian valleys and regions, but share a common culture and identity.
Terre alte, Tiramisù's current programme, has its origins in the traditions of the people from the Western Alps and Northern Appenine Mountains, with few geographical exceptions. These are the places where we lived,
the places we love and frequently visit. These are the places that express, in their diversity, a real and tangible unity, a marriage between people and culture.
